LL Prismaset Cyrillic, 2018—2020

Viktoriya Grabowska’s Cyrillic design of LL Prismaset was commissioned by Lineto, to be published in 2020. It is inspired by Prisma, Rudolf Koch’s classic decorative typeface from the 1930s, and will be elaborated in the same 23 formal variations like the Latin version of LL Prismaset, designed by James Goggin, Rafael Koch, Mauro Paolozzi & Arve Båtevik.

Birra Saison, 2015—2019

A single style display typeface, an act of play and a search for pleasure. It starts an argument with consistency. It is not a servant of a legibility. It will not be your problem-solver, your workhorse or your crystal goblet. And don’t you ever dare calling it a “tool”! Why design it, or use it? Well, the real question is WHY NOT?

Birra Saison has won a Certificate of Typographic Excellence by Type Directors Club in 2020. It is available now as part of Birra type flight by Darden Studio, NY together with the video to celebrate the release.

Maria Theresia, tactile educational typeface for blind, since 2016

Based on Klein’s type created in 1810 Maria Theresia is not aiming to be braille substitute. Its purpose is to support the process of learning letterforms by blind people. The type system offers separate cuts for different sizes: smaller for reading, bigger for learning the lettershapes, where their construction can be observed in details. Some of the pictures present typeface application in educational materials reproduced in the technique of thermoforming or embossing on paper. Educational materials designed and produced by studio Tyflograf.
